Christmas Information
Dear Parent/Carer,
With Christmas fast approaching, we have a number of events planned in school that we wanted to inform you about in advance.
Virtual Christmas Carol Performances
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, our Christmas performances will look a bit different. We are showcasing the singing talents of the children through a virtual Christmas carol performance from each class. Parents will be able to watch this by joining a live meeting on their child’s Microsoft Teams account at home, using a phone, tablet or laptop. Nearer the time, a link will be added to the ‘General Channel’ on your child’s Team account.

Christmas Hampers - Non-Uniform Days
We will be holding two non-uniform days on the following days:
- Friday 27th November. In exchange for wearing non-uniform please bring a £1 donation which will go towards buying items for our Christmas hampers.
- Friday 4th December. In exchange for wearing non-uniform please bring a chocolate item to school for our Christmas hampers.
Christmas Raffle
Donations from the non-uniform days will be used to make Christmas Hampers. The hampers will be raffled off, similarly to the Christmas Fair in previous years.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased from Monday 7th December for 50p each. The raffle will be drawn online on Wednesday 16th December. I will let you know more details nearer the time. Good luck!!
Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday 11th December it is national Christmas Jumper Day. The children can come to school wearing a Christmas jumper/tshirt if they would like. No donation required – it’s just for fun!
Christmas Parties
Each class will be having a Christmas party in their classroom with their classmates. School will provide children with some party food this year. The children may come into school wearing their own clothes on their party day.
The party days are as follows:
Wednesday 16th December: Reception, Nursery, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5
Thursday 17th December: Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6
The children break up for the Christmas holidays on Friday 18th December at 3:15 p.m. and will return to school on Tuesday 5th January at 8:45 a.m.
