History Intent 

At Castle Hill Primary School, we want to inspire children’s curiosity in History to help them to gain an understanding of Britain’s past and the wider world. We want to enable children to think and act as Historians by providing them with key vocabulary, sources of evidence and experiences. We aim for all learners to understand how people’s lives have changed and the diverse society that they live in. We believe that History encourages children to think critically and ask questions in order to develop their skills of enquiry and investigation.
